1. Overview and Compliance Statement
WildStream ("we," "us," or "our") respects intellectual property rights and expects our users to do the same. This policy outlines procedures for submitting copyright infringement notifications under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other intellectual property claims.
We will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement reported through our designated process. We will take appropriate action, including removing or disabling access to material claimed to be infringing and terminating accounts of repeat infringers.
2. Notification of Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, please provide our Designated Copyright Agent with a written notice containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and its location, with sufficient detail for us to find it
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email)
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notification is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
How to Report Copyright Infringement To report copyright infringement, you must use our official online form. We do not accept reports by email or any other method. All reports are reviewed and taken seriously. Report Copyright Infringement
3. Counter-Notification Procedures
If material you posted was removed due to a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification if you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and its previous location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number
- A statement consenting to local federal court jurisdiction
- A statement accepting service of process from the original claimant
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will:
- Forward it to the original complainant
- Wait 10-14 business days for legal action notification
- Restore the content if no legal action is filed
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
We maintain a strict policy against repeat infringers:
- Accounts receiving multiple valid DMCA notices will be terminated
- We track notices received and counter-notices submitted
- Account termination decisions consider:
- Number and validity of complaints
- User's counter-notification history
- Good faith efforts to comply
- Terminated users may not create new accounts
5. Trademark Infringement
For trademark infringement claims, provide:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification and registration details of the trademark
- Description of the alleged infringement
- Location of the infringing content
- Statement of good faith belief in infringement
- Statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate
6. Other Intellectual Property Claims
For other IP infringement claims, submit:
- Detailed description of the IP rights
- Proof of ownership
- Location of infringing content
- Explanation of infringement

7. Disclaimer and Indemnification
WildStream is not an intellectual property tribunal. We may investigate claims and take appropriate action, but we're not responsible for making final determinations of IP rights. Users agree to:
- Provide accurate information in notices and counter-notices
- Indemnify WildStream against false claims
- Accept responsibility for misuse of DMCA procedures
- Hold WildStream harmless from claims resulting from content restoration following counter-notices
This policy complies with both US DMCA requirements and Nigerian copyright laws. For jurisdictional matters, the laws of Nigeria shall apply where they provide stronger protections.
